An Irish silver-plate four-piece tea service, Waterhouse, Dublin, 20th century
comprising: a kettle-on-stand, hot water pot, teapot and two-handled sugar bowl, the baluster body engraved with trailing foliage to one side and a vacant cartouche enclosed by sprays of foliage to the other, the hinged cover similarly engraved surmounted by a bud finial, the side applied with a leaf-capped scroll handle, raised on a circular spreading foot, engraved WATERHOUSE DUBLIN, dents, the hot water pot 23,5cm high
