A Chinese silver and enamel tripod incense burner and cover, early 20th century
the shoulders applied with pierced lug handles and enamelled with a geometric and lappet border divided by a ribbed girdle, raised on taotie mask-headed legs, the domed cover applied with three figures of a buffalo and disc-shaped finial, signed, 14,5cm high; and another, the bulbous body enamelled in dark blue with four Chinese characters, the reverse with a pair of dragons contesting a flaming pearl, with domed cover and disc-shaped finial enamelled with a further dragon, somedistress to enamel,signed, 22,5cm high, each with carved wooden stand
