On the crest of the Helshoogte Pass is the picturesque wine farm of Tokara owned by ex-banker GT Ferreira. Tokara's first vines were planted in 1998 and 20 vintages later, Tokara is one of South Africa's premiere wine producers. This Cape Bordeaux White Blend, made by long-serving winemaker Miles Mossop, is impressively age-worthy, developing wonderful nutty complexity alongside the fruit and herbs.
