the hinged domed cover carved in relief with a pair of scholars seated before a rocky outcrop and attended by a young boy beneath a willow tree, the sides carved with peonies and scrolling motifs, the interior with turquoise enamel, raised on four bun feet, splits, losses, 9,5cm wide
