A Chinese ivory carving of a figure of a maiden, 19th century
the standing robed figure holding a basket in her left hand and a flower in her right, on a later pierced rockwork base carved with a crane eating a linghzi, heightened with green and black staining, the hair with damage, cracks, the base re-attached, 17cm high; and an ivory carving of a goose, late 19th/early 20th century, modelled standing peering at its tail, traces of colour to the wings and beak, 4,5cm long
