Artists inspired by Venice
About the Session

South African artists have often been inspired by Venice. This session includes artists on the April Online-Only Auction who have drawn from the city in their artistic oeuvre, as the art world converges on Venice for the 59th edition of the Venice Biennale in late April. This special sale coincides with Strauss & Co’s sponsorship of the African Art in Venice Forum 2022 at Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal on 20 and 21 April.
