octagonal, the centre enamelled with three roosters and two hens in a balustraded garden with birds and butterflies, the border with four medallions enclosing fruit, birds and blossoms respectively interspersed with chrysanthemum against a diaper ground, the whole enclosed by a band of fruit, foliage and flowerheads, gilt rim, raised on a low foot, red painted CHINA, 20,6cm wide
