ovoid, enamelled to the front with a scaly dragon pursuing a flaming pearl enclosed by a green rondel, the reverse with a ho-o bird enclosed by scrolls, all against a black and gilt scroll ground, the shoulders applied with an interlinking chain and suspension loop, raised on a copper foot, metal stopper, minor dent to stopper, 6,2cm high
