the hinged cover with rounded corners inset with dark blue enamel geometric work, moulded thumbpiece, splits, 7,8cm wide, 80g all in; an Austro-Hungarian silver card case, maker's initials IHK, 1865, rectangular-shaped, the hinged cover centred by a vacant cartouche enclosed by a belt, against an engine-turned ground, incorporated thumbpiece, conforming base, gilt interior, dents, 55g, 7,3cm wide; a French silver box, .800 standard, maker's mark PI, Paris, 1819, circular, the centre with conforming depression heightened by a finial, dents, 5,5cm diameter, 30g; and a Continental silver box, late 19th century, oval, the hinged cover moulded in relief with a putto wringing a bird's neck before buildings, enclosed by a floral and leaf border, the base with c-scroll and anthemion border, gilt interior, bearing earlier marks, 4,5cm wide, 35g
