'In 2015 this has the lighter colour and brighter, redder spicy fruit of the pair of single-vineyard Syrahs, though also with darker aspects. Well structured and elegant; sweet fruit lurks in the depths, before a good dry finish.' - Platter's SA Wine Guide 2020, 4.5* (92/100)
'Single vineyard on the Stellenboschberg, with rocky soils. Open fermenters. 20 months in 500-litre, used French oak. Coal smoke, black pepper, dark chocolate and granite mineral, with deep, rich, savoury blackberry.
