This work was made for the exhibition Book of Iterations which took the artist over ten years to produce and traveled to several museums in Europe, the USA, and South Africa. In the exhibition catalogue, the last part of Isabel Hofmeyr's essay A Miraculous History of the Book, page 74, which discusses 'The Archive', gives insight into these works.
