the shell set in a zig-zag border, the hinged base engraved with a stippled border, 8cm wide; and a silver snuff box, late 18th century, oval, engraved with a foliate cartouche enclosed by a floral border, the reverse engraved with the initials ''WC', gilt interior, with repairs and holes, 25g, 6cm wide
