A German silver kettle, maker's mark indistinct, Wesel, 1743-1744
the bulbous body with with hammered honeycomb-shaped panels, faceted neck and shoulder, the hinged cover and finial similarly decorated, the neck with reeded border and applied with a part-wood swing-handle, base engraved with the initials 'H.H', 1020g, 25,8cm high
