A Chinese blue and white plate painted with a warrior astride his horse, followed by his attendant bearing his standard and being beckoned through the entrance to a castle by the gate-keeper, with a servant preparing tea on the rampart, the reverse with three sprays of blossoms, underglaze-blue four-character and double-ring mark, 18,5cm diameter
