the stepped arched toprail above a pierced splat with conforming bottom rail, shaped grooved outcurved arms, caned seat, the shaped seatrail reverse carved with the intials 'DMB' and the date '1795', on tapering square-section fluted legs joined by an H-stretcher, on block feet, restorations
