Situated on the scenic slopes of the Helderberg mountain, Rust en Vrede is one of Stellenbosch’s oldest estates, dating back to 1694 and is today owned by Jean Engelbrecht. The fine Helderberg terroir produces concentrated and highly celebrated reds.

‘Rich and sexy 2010 ramps up a notch on previous 2009 (4 stars). Ultra-ripe (alcohol 15.2%) but gracious and silky, with a light spice sheen over muscular prune and chocolate fruit. Concentrated and poised, oak is well absorbed.’ - Platter’s SA Wine Guide 2013, 4.5*
