A Japanese Imari dish, Meiji period, 1868-1912 circular, the centre painted with a flower-filled jardinière enclosed by a double blue-line, the border painted with various flowerheads and scrolling foliage, gilt rim, the reverse with three sprays of flowerheads above a double blue-line, raised on a low foot, overall gilt highlights, underglaze-blue ring mark, 30,5cm diameter
