the front carved and applied with hardstone birds and flaming clouds, centred by a lug handle, some loss to the birds, minor restoration, 14cm diameter; and a Chinese carved soapstone figure of a recumbent boy, Ming Dynasty, the small boy supporting a headrest in his left arm, his right hand resting on his knee, his robe lightly carved with flowers, some loss to the feet, 6cm long
