A Chinese Export famille-rose part dinner service, Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period, 1736-1795 each decorated to the centre with sprays of peonies, lilies and blossom, the cavetto with burnt-orange border highlighted in gilt and divided by four medallions enclosed by a cell-diaper foliate border and wavy sienna-glazed rim, comprising: twenty-two soup plates, seventeen dinner plates, eight serving dishes, in sizes, a soup tureen, cover and stand, chips, hairline cracks, the largest platter 41,5cm wide (49)
