rectangular, the hinged cover enamelled with birds in flight and perched on a flowering branch, the body decorated in shades of purple and white with a geometric band, the interior engraved with Mount Fuji and a riverscape, engraved Inaba mark and ‘MADE IN JAPAN’, damage to the base of the interior, 13,6cm wide
