About this Item
Back in 1984, the single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon block was called "La Femme Bleu". At the time, it felt like a French name worked as a tribute to the region of Bordeaux. Of course, we now know that the coolest thing about this iconic wine is that it's 100% African, and demonstrates to the world the true power of Stellenbosch terroir.

'Warwick's Blue Lady Cabernet always comes from the higher part of the farm on the Simonsberg. Referred to as "the big daddy" by Mike Ratcliffe, the 2014 is a dense, compact, stylish red with inky depths and an undertow of minerality. Drink 2019-26.'- Tim Atkin SA Wine Report 2017, 93/100 'Best 11 barrels from a single Cabernet vineyard, 2014 expresses black & red fruits encased by authoritative tannins, dusted with tobacco, cedarwood from 26 month oak, 62% new. Decant now, or better, cellar - will reward the patient.' - Platter's SA Wine Guide 2018, 4.5*
