ovoid, decorated with a continuous scene of a bird-of-paradise on a rocky outcrop before flowering branches against a yellow ground, the shoulder with medallions painted with scholar's emblems enclosed by diaper borders, the cover similarly decorated, spurious Kangxi underglaze-blue double-ring mark, 27,5cm high
