Notes
Upon first meeting Ezrom Legae and Bill Hart at the Jubilee Art Centre in July 1968, both commented on Saoli's potential. This meeting resulted in Saoli's first exhibition held at the Goodman Gallery in Johannesburg. The sold out show was soon followed by the appearance of Saoli's work at the Contemporary African Art exhibition at the Camden Arts Centre in London.1
