A rare American Civil War period folding knife, mid 19th century
with stag horn handle mounted with metal motifs moulded with the words Liberty and Union, the clip back blade etched to the top with a naked lady on top of a horse with the letters MAZ PPA below, the pommel cap with Liberty cap, stand of arms, American Eagle with Union shield, a section of the quillion lacking, some wear to mounts, scuffing to etching, the blade 10cm long, closed 13,5cm long
