A Japanese tanto, 19th/20th century
with shaped and carved iron tsuba, housing a pair of kogai with inlays, lacking kozuka, the ray-skin handle lacking binding, kashira lacking, the red lacquered scabbard lacking, minor chips, the blade 28cm long; and another, the whole decorated in stamped brass floral work, the blade engraved with stylised flowerhead and foliage, signed to the blade YOSHI HARU?, the blade 15cm long
