A Southern Cape yellowwood and stinkwood painted kist, George, late 19th century
with hinged rectangular top, the front painted in red, yellow and white with stylised proteas enclosed by ribbon-and-line borders against a green ground, the sides applied with painted steel handles, 46,5cm high, 92,5cm wide, 44,5cm deep
