A Chinese Jian 'hare's fur' tea bowl, Song Dynasty, 12th/ 13th century the tapering sides rising to a slightly everted rim, covered in a black iron-rich glaze, with brown streaks to the interior and exterior, the glaze stopping short of the foot, firing faults and chip to the foot, 6,7 cm high
