A Victorian presentation silver cigarette case and vesta case, maker's initials P & S, Birmingham, 1897 and 1898
cased, each engraved with flowers and foliage, the cigarette case inscribed "WAR 1900, PRESENTED TO JOHN RITCHIE ON LEAVING FOR S.AFRICA FROM THE EMPLOYEES OF DAVID RITCHIE", the vesta case with ring attachment to the side and inscribed "A PRESENT TO John Ritchie", each with silver-gilt interior, the cigarette case 95g, 8,7cm long, the vesta case 25g, 4,7cm high
