the blade engraved with scroll and foliate motifs, engraved 'PRESENTED TO THE DEAN OF BLOEMFONTEIN, THE VERY REV. F. FINDLEY ON THE OCCASION OF THE LAYING OF THE FOUNDATION STONE OF THE ANGLICAN BOYS HOSTEL FOR THE BREBNER HIGH SCHOOL, BLOEMFONTEIN, 25TH MAY 1954', with turned wooden handle, 175g all in,28,5cm long; and a South African Voortrekker Centenary silver-plated presentation pedestal bowl, (1838-1938) after a design by J.H. Pierneef, moulded with vignettes, 12cm diameter
