Notes
Francis Murray Russell Flint was the son of Sir William Russell Flint (1880-1969). He studied at the Royal Academy Schools in the UK as well as in Paris. He was an Official War Artist during the Second World War and was later Vice President of the Royal Watercolour Society. His works frequently depict the sea and related activities along the shore.
