A Japanese ivory netsuke of a figural group, late Meiji period (1868-1912)
carved with figures at various pursuits, carrying gourds, scrolls, fans, jardinieres and water jugs, a crouching tiger between three figures and a sinuous dragon above, the base carved in low relief with stylised clouds and a scroll, signed, 4,3cm high
