A polychrome faience dish, possibly German, 18th century
the lobed circular dish painted to the centre with a peacock amongst tulips and scrolling foliage, the rim decorated with stylised tulips, raised on a low foot, the reverse numbered 50, glaze chips, 33,8cm diameter; and another, 19th century, the centre decorated with a spray of spring flowers and scrolling foliage enclosed by a blue-line border, the cavetto similarly decorated, with blue-glazed rim, hairline crack, chips, 34cm diameter
