each ovoid body painted with a continuous scene from the Battle of Changban of galloping figures in pursuit of Zhao Yun, one of the Five Tiger Generals of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period, rescuing Liu Shan, his Lord's young son, before a mountainous landscape, between double line foliate borders, underglaze-blue four-character mark, chip to one rim, 29cm high
