'Ruin lust was a particular interest I was exploring - as an artist I have given myself the freedom to explore multiple visual languages simultaneously - I want to learn all the time. I was exploring the contrast between the extreme beauty and violence in images we see on the news, media and in movies. This excitement and thrill and the visual stunningness of massive explosions.'¹
