Notes
According to Amanda Botha, this painting of a Greek Orhodox Church dates to one of her various periods in Greece. She and Jan lived for a few years on the island of Crete (1967/68). During their time in Greece she and Jan attended church on a regular basis and enjoyed taking part in the many festivals that the Greek islands had to offer.
