the hinged rectangular top enclosing a zinc-lined interior, the sides applied with iron carrying handles, 26,5cm high,52,5cm wide, 40cm deep; a Boer War layered black cotton kappie, with ribbons; and a child's cotton christening underrobe, hand stitched, the sleeves with lace trim, 23cm long
