A Victorian silver teapot, William Hutton & Sons, London, 1882
the hinged cover embellished with bright-cut decoration, surmounted by an ebonised oval-shaped finial, the side applied with a leaf-capped ebonised handle, the body and shoulders with further bright-cut decoration and gadrooned border centred by an inscription 'Presented to Mrs Goldhawk by some sincere Cape Friends', makers marks indistinct, date mark is rubbed, dents, restorations, 14cm high, 440g; and a Victorian tea strainer, William Comyns & Sons, London, 1892, the pierced body moulded in high relief with scrolling foliage and flowerheads, the sides applied with pierced figural and scrolling foliate handles, dents, repair, 12,7cm wide over handles,45g
