Named after a legendary 19th-century Norwegian arctic expedition ship, these are wines of exploration, crafted by the enigmatic Thinus Kruger in the Swartland. His mission is to "always sail into unchartered waters, to boldly search for whatever great grapes lie over the next horizon."

‘Dark and brooding 2012, meaty and savoury, with some plum undertones. Quite tannic, needs time to soften, meld; could show better over time and then reward handsomely.’ - Platter’s SA Wine Guide 2015, 4.5*
