A Cape yellowwood and painted kist, 19th century
with hinged moulded two-plank top, the front painted with a spray of flowers enclosed by stylised sprays against a green ground, the interior of the top papered with fashion plates and inscribed Sannie, the front and back corners applied with metal mounts, 47,5cm high, 98cm wide, 43cm deep
