About this Item

A Bakelite musical trinket box, 1930s
the cylindrical russet body of ribbed outline, raised on three ebonised ovoid feet with brass caps, the cover with ovoid finial, 11cm high; five bakelite boxes in shades of caramel, olive green, fire engine red and agate, with ribbed sides, black covers and bases, the tallest 7,7cm high; and two further examples, one with smooth toffee-coloured body, the other with ribbed dark olive-green body, with cream covers and bases, the taller 7,8cm high
