A Chinese famille-rose drum seat, 20th century the tapering ovoid body painted with two large shou characters, each centred by a bat, the sides with a pierced double turquoise medallion enclosed by a yellow ground decorated with bats, peaches and further shou characters, enclosed by boss-and-foliate borders, diaper borders above, the top similarly decorated and pierced, restored, 45,2cm high
