the 29cm silvered dial signed James Patterson, Banff, engraved with chapter ring, roman numerals, seconds and calendar dial, with engraved foliate spandrels, pierced steel hands, strike/not strike lever above II, with two train rack-and-bell striking movement and anchor escapement, the case with flat top moulded cornice, with dentil and blind-fret borders and hood hald pilasters, arched trunk door, on a moulded plinth base, restorations, 222cm high
