A George III longcase clock, James Paterson the 29cm silvered dial signed James Patterson, Banff, engraved with chapter ring, roman numerals, seconds and calendar dial, with engraved foliate spandrels, pierced steel hands, strike/not strike lever above II, with two train rack-and-bell striking movement and anchor escapement, the case with flat top moulded cornice, with dentil and blind-fret borders and hood hald pilasters, arched trunk door, on a moulded plinth base, restorations, 222cm high
