A Victorian silver vinaigrette, Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham, 1841

rectangular, the hinged cover engraved with foliage enclosing the initials 'JR', the base engraved with a flower, gilt interior, with hinged pierced foliate grille, splits, dents, 7,8g, 2,5cm wide; a George IV silver-gilt example, maker's mark TS, Birmingham, 1827, the engine-turned body with raised foliate borders, the hinged cover with a central rectangular plaque engraved 'MS', gilt interior, later hinged pierced foliate grille, 20g, 3,1cm wide; and a William IV example, John Lilly, Birmingham, possibly 1830, rectangular, the hinged cover engraved in relief with foliage against a stippled ground, the base engraved with a foliate motif within a wrigglework border, gilt interior, hinged pierced grille, dents, 11,4g, 3,3cm wide
