About this Item
An Edward VII silver and tortoiseshell-mounted inkwell, maker's mark worn, London, double-struck date mark, probably 1909
the hinged cover mounted with tortoiseshell enclosed by a leaf-and-berry border and centred with piqué-work, the compressed circular body above a spreading conforming foot, loaded, lacking inkwell liner, 5cm high; and a tortoiseshell and silver-mounted page turner, indistinctly marked, the reeded handle with an acanthus-leaf terminal, each side with a ribbon-tied vacant cartouche, 35cm long
