Photograph of Gert van Rooyen and Joey Haarhoff and cartoon study attached to the reverse. Van Rooyen and his female accomplice Haarhoff are believed to have kidnapped, assaulted and murdered several girls in the late 1980s. Van Rooyen killed himself and Haarhoff after one of their captives escaped. The bodies of the other girls have never been found.
