Critics Ratings
Such is the modesty of the Steytlers that not much was made of this 2016 vintage being named Decanter Magazine's most exciting wine of 2017 under £55 - worldwide - this is no mean feat!
'Luxurious, warm and enveloping notes of honey, lemon and pineapple jump out of the glass. Creamy and complex, this is bursting with flavour, life and indulgent good humour. Sweet exotic fruit, married with nutty apple and citrus, are wrapped up with a crisp acidity. Drinking Window 2017 - 2023' - Decanter's Most Exciting Wines of 2017 Panel Tasting, 96 Points
'Right up there with the best Cape Chenins in 2016, this is a thing of beauty and stunning complexity. Danie Steytler's touch is very gentle here, producing a magical combination of old vine fruit, minerality, lees and subtle oak. Racy and focused, with tangerine, pear tart and sweet spices. 2018-26' - Tim Atkin SA Wine Report 2017, 96 Points
