Strauss & Co is delighted to introduce Erika Wiese-Dippenaar, who joins us as our London-based representative at an exciting moment in the company’s continued growth. As Strauss & Co looks to expand its presence and deepen its relationships across the United Kingdom and Europe, Erika has been appointed to help drive this strategy and support the development of new opportunities in these important markets.

Based in London, Erika brings a multidisciplinary background spanning strategic partnerships, client engagement, philanthropy, and design-led projects. Over the past decade, she has worked across South Africa and Europe with private clients, family offices, institutions, and purpose-led ventures, helping to build relationships, shape positioning, and create opportunities for meaningful engagement across markets.

Alongside this, Erika has been involved in private residential and creative projects in London and Cape Town, with a particular interest in the thoughtful placement of art and in making collecting feel more personal, accessible, and engaging.

With an academic background in finance, psychology, and political economy, Erika brings both strategic rigour and a sensitivity to people, context, and story. She has a longstanding interest in the visual arts, particularly where they intersect with memory, place, identity, and cultural exchange.

In her role with Strauss & Co, Erika will work closely with the team to strengthen the company’s presence in London and Europe, nurture existing collector relationships, and introduce new audiences to the depth, quality, and significance of South African and African art.
