An Exclusive Bouchard Père et Fils Tasting & Dinner
This May, Strauss & Co presents a unique opportunity to acquire wines that define Burgundy’s legacy, aged bottles direct from the ancient 15th Century cellars of Bouchard Père et Fils. These historic bottles, among the last remaining examples from the 20th and early 21st centuries, represent some of the Domaine’s most important cuvées. Fine vintages across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune back to 1972 have been selected, checked and captured on the Bouchard database, with a dedicated neck proof tag confirming their recent release from the Bouchard cellars. Bottles from the 2009 vintage and older were also waxed in anticipation of their recent release and will be offered in a dedicated Strauss & Co online auction from 04 – 25 May 2026.
For collectors, this is more than an opportunity to acquire exceptional wines; it is a rare chance to engage with the history and enduring legacy of Burgundy itself. All with confidence that the bottle will be in perfect condition. To mark this extraordinary release and taste wines from the auction, we invite you to join the Strauss & Co Wine Specialist team for an intimate tasting and dinner, hosted by Strauss & Co senior wine specialists Roland Peens and Higgo Jacobs, along with Derek Kilpin of Great Domaines. Set against a lavish backdrop of fine art and a curated dining experience, the evening promises exceptional wines, cultural insight, and engaging conversation among fellow collectors and enthusiasts.
