Strauss & Co invites you to attend a panel discussion that will explore the Boerneef Collection, while also discussing artworks that highlight the intersection of art and the Afrikaans language.
“Boerneef,” the pen name of Izak Wilhelmus van der Merwe (1897–1967), was a renowned poet who celebrated notable South African artists such as Hugo Naude, Cecil Higgs, and Pranas Domsaitis in his works.
